Comfy Clothes Only

Hello you beautiful things,

I hope you've all had a really great weekend - I've spent mine celebrating my brother's 27th birthday and mooching around eating various tasty foods. I popped into Richmond for brunch this morning and honestly could not be bothered to get dressed, but since public nudity is illegal in most places I slipped into all my comfiest clothes. Like I said in my last post, I enjoy being a little extra sometimes but also sometimes I just want to be a human blanket. I'll be spending my evening with some soup, Alias Grace on Netflix and a face mask - which aren't such a relaxing experience for me given that I scare myself half to death whenever I pass a mirror with a sheet mask on. Who dis? A MURDERER!?

I'm enjoying my more wordy posts, but I thought I'd go back to basics and just have a little chat this post. I'm a writer and editor too, so sometimes I struggle to think of content to write about for the blog - a woman can only have so many opinions. I've spent my week brainstorming article ideas to pitch to other magazines, and it's a bit of a new field for me so that's taken a whole load of my brain juice this last week. I'm slowly getting back my energy after three years of university, starting to breathe a little again and while my days tend to be busy as ever, at least I spend them messing around with what I love: words. Yum.

There will however be some delightful tropical content coming your way as I head to Marrakech for a couple days on Tuesday- I have some great pieces to shoot out there, and I'm excited to pop some travel tips up here as I've been to the city a few times now! Also give me all the leather slippers. It's lucky I don't have a home to furnish otherwise I'd probably come home with every rug, basket and lampshade in Morocco. Anyone who tried to stop me would have to fight me.

Ok, I'm going to go rest my sleepy head on our sofa and bathe in some vegetarian Minestrone - speak soon!

ZARA coat (similar), MARC BY MARC JACOBS hat, GUCCI bag (here), ZARA shoes, & OTHER STORIES jeans (here), MONKI scarf, ROSEFIELD watch (c/o)
