An Afternoon in San Fransisco

Hello!

Coming at you from San Fransisco! It's amazing how just driving a few hours north can make the weather shift so much - being used to little dresses and tops from our last week in California, I was bloody freezing walking around SF in the afternoon. Note to self: Camilla, why don't you ever check your weather apps?

We only managed to squeeze an afternoon in to wander around SF, but luckily I've been here before so it was nice to go back to the places we knew we liked and just hang around. The colder weather has made me excited to go back to London and bundle up in some coats though - I've picked up two awesome jackets while I've been over here and while my barely-closing suitcase isn't happy, I'm pretty sure my core body temperature will be when autumn really hits London. I was kindly invited to the Cords & Co flagship store in London to pick out a pair of their trousers, and if I'm being honest, I completely would not have expected myself to pick something like these. Firstly they're not black/ navy blue, and secondly a cropped flare is not a flattering shape - but I just love the soft green colour and I also sort of panicked with all the beautiful choices. Apparently, sometimes panicking at the till is the best thing that can happen. I don't know if you can tell, aside from the fact I haven't taken these 70s perv sunglasses off, but I'm really loving a modernised seventies vibe at the moment. Give me all the art deco and kick flares, plz.

We're heading to New York today - hanging out just outside the city for a few days to see what Connecticut has to offer in the Autumn. I think we'll head into the city for the day which is always great - New York is the city with all my favourite restaurants, so I'll probably have about eight lunches. Just living my best life, you know?

On another note, I wrote an opinion piece on the #MeToo hashtag, and why we need to start believing woman about sexual assault without mass corroboration always required - you can read that here.

Enjoy these snaps from SF, shout out to mumma Ackley for being patient with me in the icy winds that you can't see in these photos.
