How to dress like a Scandinavian part three

UNIF jumper via Urban Outfitters (here)*, ZARA pants, ACNE STUDIOS shoes (similar), FJALLRAVEN KANKEN backpack (here), ASOS coat (similar), JIYA thread bracelets*, PANDORA bangle* // Ph. by Ella Kemp

Back with UO and the final installment of my how to dress like a scandi babe series, today featuring every student's essential accessory: the club stamp. The layered 'I went out too much this week' stamp. Potentially not a particular Scandinavian favourite but a great addition to any look. I could have Photoshopped it out (probably) but that would be lying.
This brings me onto something that is actually relevant to Danish styling; details. While the Scandinavian paints her/his personal style canvas with a broad brush, creating block shapes and ignoring conventional silhouettes, they also take an immense amount of pride in detail. Layered silver jewelery, coloured bracelet's or subtly adorned trainers to add a sense of dimension to bold, simple ensembles. Sheer slips peeking out to contrast the over-sized, boyish look of big jumpers and slim culottes. And of course, the ever practical bag which is appropriately comfortable.
This amazing jumper (which is technically a very cool dress, but sadly on my 5"8 busty self it doesn't quite cover all the parts one might need to consider covering) may not be a scandi brandi but it still ticks every box, which shows that dressing like Copenhagen streetstyle isn't only attainable with Scandinavian brands, it's about an aesthetic.
Go sister, soul sister. Own it.

  2. I've absolutely loved your Scandinavian style posts. The mesh detail of the jumper is ridiculously cool and I love the added touch of tying your laces behind your ankle!
