A(nother) year in review

My favourite outfits from January to December 2014.

2014 was a messy year. Literally- in the first week of University I spilled nine drinks. I got a bit of a rep, still working it off but moving swiftly on. It has been an absolutely intense, beautiful, scary, frustrating and amazing year- I'm at University reading Philosophy, it's terrifying and hard but I'm so unbelievably happy. I had the pleasure of writing for amazing websites like Grazia's The Debrief, and becoming a kind of brand ambassador for Shelly's London, being involved with the rebirth of an iconic brand. I can't even begin to list the amazing places I've been lucky enough to have seen, the beautiful people I've met and the unforgettable moments. I learnt new things, like when the midday 'sh** did I remember to put pants on?' thought runs through my head, the answer is probably yes. And that following health instagrams is counter-productive to me being healthy because so much salad on one page makes me want donuts. And that I actually like feta, which trust me, no one saw coming.
It hasn't always been wonderful, but (and I absolutely stole this from tumblr) the low moments only made the good ones all the more special. For the first time in a long time I feel entirely comfortable with myself and who I am- and while exams and school may have meant that in some respects my focus was not always on the blog, I'm excited this year to begin to bring back focus on Into The Fold and make it grow into what I want it to be. Your support has been unbelievable. I don't even care if you just visit to laugh at me, heck sometimes I scroll through just to laugh at me. Every moment I think maybe I can't hack it anymore, the balance of online and reality, you guys give me back my drive. I have so many ideas for this space, new content, pushing the photography forward and getting back into writing real articles.
C'mon 2015, I've never felt more ready.
