Monochrome and monotone

#teenvogue // ZARA shorts, top and bag, SPITFIRE sunglasses, H&M trench and shoes

I wore this out to Copenhagen yesterday for a day of shopping and eats, the weather was ridiculously perfect and it was boiling but I refused to take off this sleeveless trench on account of the fact it was kinda expensive. Heat stroke < low cost per wear ratio. Call it fools fashion maths or what you will, it made sense at the time.
Just a quick post from me as I've been super busy making the best of every last minute we have in Danmark, Mid-August we're heading to the states for our annual roadtrip, this year we're taking the RV from Seattle down to San Fransisco via Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. Any food/visit suggestions for Seattle/ SF will be welcomed since I've never been to those cities!

  15. Love this! San Fran is one of my favorite cities here in the States. Make sure to go to Fisherman's Wharf, as no trip is complete without it. Also, Haight-Ashbury is another favorite of mine-- lots of cool record shops, jazz bars, delicious cheap eats, and lots and lots of people watching.
    Enjoy your trip!

Oooh, you're coming to Seattle? Let me know if you want a tour guide :)

For restaurants, there really are sooo many.
University District - Aqua Verde is absolutely packed at lunchtime (for good reason), but you want a bite after 1:30 or so it's better. Chaco Canyon has really yummy vegan/vegetarian fare.
The Ballard/Fremont area has really good food. The Walrus and the Carpenter is a bit pricy, but it has an oyster happy hour and amazing small plates - I always get their grilled sardines with walnuts.
If you go to Pike Place Market, I highly recommend Mee Sum Pastry. Look for the line :) and you'll find delicious stuffed pork buns and yummy Chinese pastries, all for super cheap.

That's all I can think of for now - email me if you want me to brainstorm more :)

And, of course, love your look!

  48. I just got back from a roadtrip to West-America, you should check out my blog these days for my traveldiaries (San Francisco is already online and Yosemite will be tomorrow). It's in Dutch, but the pictures say enough. San Francisco was a nice city, but not my favourite. There are a few nice restaurants in Westfield (pasta & pizza!) ... Yosemite is very nice, but you should contact a ranger and ask for a hike that leads you to the waterfall. That's the highlight, no doubt :). And watch out for the chipmunks! They seem cute, but they carry a bacterie that could be dangerous for people ...
