Petersham nurseries

#teenvogue // TOPSHOP dress, ZARA heels, CHANEL bag, TK MAXX jacket

There are various pros and cons when it comes to living in South West London, on the negative side, I'm a little bit out of the good shopping areas (albeit that's probably a good thing) like Knightsbridge and Kensington. The pros? I'm near to the beautiful area that is Richmond and it's surroundings. My favorite spot in London is in Richmond Park, there's a specific point where if you stop and look, you can see the entire London skyline. Millenium Eye, the Gherkin and so much more; all this while your pleasantly surrounded by deer. If that isn't magic, then I don't know what is.
Subsequently, one of my other (new) favorite spots is Petersham Nurseries. It's a little off the beaten track, but definitely worth a visit, especially if the weather is as warm as it was today. They have a more formal lunch spot, but we ate in the greenhouse at the cafe where they have a daily selection of organic salads and other tidbits for a lighter lunch.
If that hasn't convinced you to visit, kindly scroll back up and just look at that cake.
Thank me later, alligator. In the mean time I'm going to go procrastinate exam revision by baking, tidying my room, looking through clothing catalogues and any other activities that don't involve the words 'Stomata' or 'Kant'.

P.s I've been nominated in the Company blogger awards under 'best teen blogger', it would mean the world to me if you would vote me for here! The 'best teen blogger' category is page 8/11 and it only takes 2 seconds to vote! Thank you, sending some cyber bear hugs your way.

  17. You look amazing as always ! Funny thing, Alberto who takes my photos went on a date I am sure to this exact same place in Richmond. I just sent him a link to your blog post :) hehehe. Turns out he didn't like the girl. Oh well.

As for living southwest, lucky you. I am near Knightsbridge and it has eaten a hole in my pocket. Just now I am craving macaroons and thinking of going to Laduree by Harrods, but I have substituted it with the Sainsbury's custard creams for 50 p . Win !

  28. Oh! I had no idea you were living in South West London! I do love Richmond and since it's only a short bus ride away from my West London flat, I can't see why we can't grab coffee at some point.

And needless to say, I already voted for you in the Company Awards! ; )

  37. You're hardly far away from the good shopping areas. It takes you what, 15/20 minutes tops to get there? It's probably a good thing that neither you nor I live across from Harrods/Westfield/any other great shopping place. Can you imagine the state of our bank account? Not good.

I read about this place in a novel once, always wondered what it looked like. It seems to be quite beautiful and quaint.

  51. OK, OK, I need to calm down, but I'm totally going nuts over your look. You look like a model off duty, also seemingly reminds me of Kate Moss? A little disheveled, but still lady like. I LOVE that you took such a feminine dress (which is so beautiful btw) and paired it with a leather jacket. Such a great juxtaposition! And the shoes are so beautiful. I'm jealous that you live in London, my favorite city in the world. I love Richmond park.. such great memories there.

P.s. want to follow each other?
